you are developing fast zemmy. this may be your best yet, i know you often ask for crticism, so here's something positive, the vocal is great, the lyrics are intelligent, the strings are great, the piano is fine, a little busy perhaps, but that's personal opinion and no big deal, nice arrangement. if this was my recording, i would make a few mixes of it, just to give it some edge, you have a vocal tone that could easy take this a little more leftfield rather than mainstream classic pop but you must always please yourself and do what you want of course. keep going girl - you're gonna make it in time - even the artwork is getting better. x
Thanks so much fc! I know what you mean about my voice tone suiting leftfield stuff and it would definitely be interesting to take this in that direction. I'll just have to save up to afford more mixes! Your comments and criticism are always much, much appreciated. xx
you are welcome zemmy - as for mixes, there are many producers out there that collaborate with vocalists, the group that was working with Leona signed up at Vox and they are looking for vocalists. Many dj's do mixes for fun and exposure and it may not have to cost you much if at all. These are just a few options open to you and are worth considering. f.c
I'd take your vocals and re-work them for you for fun if you want to try it out. I am not interested in stealing your vocals and trying to sell them down the local market, i have no time or desire for that nonsense, but if you want a mix made, a version excursion just for your own demo purposes, for your use not mine, the offer is there for you, take it or leave it zemmy, its all about choice.
